Redwyne

Each time I walk by this grapes ornament in Trieste, Italy, I’m immediately reminded of the sigil of House Redwyne, Lady Olenna Tyrell’s birth House in Game of Thrones / A Song of Ice and Fire. Of course, big nerd and even bigger Tyrell fan that I am, I had to do something with it.

Fun fact: while I was taking the photo, a lady who lives in that building was coming back from walking the dog, noticed me and told me that those gates are original pieces from the time the building used to be the canteen of the nearby (literally across the street) Stock liquor factory, which specialised in local wines for cognac production: hence the grapes motif.
