Usually I don’t like intermissions when I’m in the middle of thep ublishing of a photoshoot, but I had this sudden glimpse of inspiration today and I want to share it right now. I don’t shoot architecture often, but when I do, I have a very strong emotional release through it.
This is the Scala dei Giganti in Trieste, Italy.

Ok, this one is my next favorite. From this series, I'd say is the best. Very well framed, good capturing and subtitle concept. If I have to imagine how the wind will erode those stones, from MCMVII to present, I'm sorry I can't because the photographer took care of that. Bloody photographer Made me imagine an illusory battle instead. This structure might have had its golden era once or so it seams. Rome in every corner of your shoot, except, perhaps, on the top of the photo - nature follows its curse, for sure, you have captured a bird again!- , where, under that dramatic sky, some trees are keeping the balance. Actually I loved very much this black balance from the top trees and the bottom, under the arch.

And, of course, from that cupola, an angel is missing! He would have given a more impressive look to this imposing architecture!

Very well done. I think I had a heard ache when I saw this one!
As sudden as it was, is definitively one of your best. And, also, very new again.

Welcome to the Magnanimity Masters! :blackrose:

Well, this is a photo that just cried to be shot. I had to.
I think that's the most magical place in all Trieste, each time I go there and I have my camera I shoot something interesting! I've already used it as a set three times but it still offers new, unexpected perspectives. A "forbidden dream" of mine would be shooting Theo and Adam there, I'm sure it would tun out priceless.

:) Well, for me, since I'm not physically related with the building, despite the fact that I've always loved any kind of stairs, this whole magnum looks like a golden era, as I said. For you, the place reminds of golden days, as you're not only physically touched by the place, but also is some sort of dear relation between the structure of these stairs and what they might mean for you. So, is pretty much understandable why you feel the urge to frame a moment or another each time you visit this place. Me, as a neutral viewer, I can only notice the imposing angle and structure, the shades and lights, the concept you wanted to suggest. What "lies beyond" it and all the "forbidden dreams" are, from this perspective, a matter of connection. Dear persons in a very dear place. Yep, this is you!

very nice! I love really neat bits of architecture, which is probably why most of the pictures I take when I go somewhere are architecture.
