The Warmth Of Stone

You know, I’ve had my share of gothic architecture photos, especially when I was still beginning (especially the Milan and Cologne cathedrals), so it is a subject I didn’t think I would come back to easily. This is perhaps the reason why, while I enjoyed visiting St. Vitus Cathedral in Prague, Czechia, a lot, I was captured by very few details from a photographic point of view. One of these was the softly lit chorus just above the entrance and the warm tones of the stone. But it’s no mystery that gothic cathedrals were built to create amazing shadow plays.
