Description

[ The Closed Eyes Of Paradise – Draconian ]

The title comes from a concept demo by Draconian about the story of Lucifer, His fall and His final victory over God. Three tracks were re-recorded for the later album The Burning Halo. With this said (and some good advertisement for the band made), this photo changed its title a billion times, ‘cause beside being very visual, it didn’t suit any of its title. My beloved Anders’ music helped me once more, in the end. XD
Taken among the spires of the Milan Cathedral (after the Astarte photoshot).

After the first few moments of having my mind blown by all those details, I have to tell you that I love the subtle gradient of color from left to right. I only wish it was a little stronger, but that's just my inner color fiend speaking. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/a/a…" width="15" height="15" alt=":aww:" title="Aww" />

I love that this shot is so detailed. Too many photographers would have let it fade into the distance and lost the awe-inspiring detail of this place.

I love the composition of the piece, too. You picked a very interesting spot to photograph and the eye moves nicely through this photo, right down that diagonal, up the line of towers, back over to the left and down the diagonal again.

Simply amazing shot! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c…" width="20" height="20" alt="" title="Clap" />
