Stranded V

This is from a lovely set of pictures and to me, what was so striking about them was they appear to be a window through time, perhaps they were taken a few minutes ago, or perhaps they could have represented someone stranded back in the 1700s on an island somewhere.

They're all very original, the technique comes across as timeless, and the visual impact is outstanding.

Wonderful images, I'm hoping to see more like them sometime because they were so pleasant to look at and speculate upon. What is the story behind the pictures? What led to being stranded? How will this be resolved?
