Salome III - Desire And Disdain by GothicNarcissus Salome III - Desire And Disdain by GothicNarcissus
Third photo from the Salomé mini-series, inspired by Oscar Wilde’s play of the same name, starring BriarRose as Salomé, me as John the Baptist and the amazing Cunene as the one who made it all possible.
I’d like to thank everyone here for the enthusiasm you have met this series with. It was a very important step forward for me both as a model and personally, so I’m glad you’re liking this work so much!
Please, remember to visit also BriarRose’s and Cunene’s galleries, whose links are in the credits!

Well Rosa, , you´re very welcome, you deserve it plentifully, as I said in other occasions around here. Just keep the good work!
As for the fUngirls, they´re everywhere, like paparazzi! XD But that head looked terribly wonderful on your plate, Salome! Literally! I almost fangirled you when I saw it for the first time! *___*

My Gosh, This is such a wonderful series and sooooooo underrated. With all the respect, but Sometimes I think your watchers are blind. Is the best from the best you have done so far as model. How come nobody is noticing it?
I don´t wanted to comment yet, I wait for the entire series to be up (I already saw it on Cunene´s blog), but, I can´t believe, I just can´t believe how come some peoples don´t give a damn for a truly aesthetic and indubitable classic, refined, exquisite, subtle, delicate, tenuous, and clever work!

From 1700 who claim that are watching you only18 knew to appreciate. Shame to all the rest!

Honestly, I was kind of expecing it. Indeed, guess in the meantime what other deviation got a critique? :) I don't really know why it works like that... :/

This comment was more for your watchers than for you, but well...
AAAA...I don´t really know, but, since we´ve talked the other days about ....a certain disappointing, I tend to think that is about one work with our common Star, "the main (missing) attraction".

About the last part of your comment, I don´t know either (or maybe I do), but I´ve noticed this with many of your works. The best ones are always let aside. If you undress without bitching, you´re just cute, if you undress to be the holy fool or other pixy fox, omg you´re suddenly hot, faved, desired and so on. Like you undress two different bodies. And the ideas behind any body are always unimportant. Is a pity. Here should count something else.

Well, I like this series, I will comment properly, as I said, after you´ll submit all of them. I still have a lot to recuperate. I didn´t commented yet to some other works (from my absence) I like very much. I hope I don´t stress you too much with such long comments.

Indeed, you guessed right. Each parametre with five stars. And the hell with Machinery, Silent Contemplation, Cathedral Walls, Devotion or Evelyn, to name a few.

Well, yeah. Actually I know too why, I just don't want to think of that. To be honest, the only instance in which... this didn't bother me was with Heavy Metal Lover: that phot is really important to me, so I didn't mind the exposure it got, even though I guess that most of the people who looked at it were only interested in the fanservice part. Oh well.

Don't you worry, I've told you many times I appreciate your opinion on my works, and I will keep telling you. The only thing is that I hope you don't mind if I often reply quickly to what you write: your insight is such that there is really nothing to add. Like with Amen Fashion, you get to the core of the photo!

I will only tell you this, my dear Astaroth:
You always asked me why I liked you so much and I always avoided to answer you. I thought that maybe from all the comments I´ve made during all the path since I first saw that id of yours, you´ll figure it out. Now I will tell you.
You´re one of the reasons I feel so alive. As a piece of art can only do keeping my feet on the ground. Because of some of your work I don´t have to ask me "Why?". Especially since I saw that "Earth is my witness", my favorite from everything you ever made. That work made me to want to see beyond you, as artist. That and many other have spoken for me in a different kind of reality. I don´t have to mention IL here, cause that series was made for me only, even if maybe I didn´t knew how to tell you about it sometimes.

I´d wish with all my heart for you to keep your shining star, the principles you believe in, especially in those principles who made you to step ahead as photographer, cause those are your greatest love from all. They are the reason you can fly. Some of them, known by me also, are the reason why I always believed in you, the reason why I´ve always told you "Congratulations, you´ve done a great job this time"!

Your place is not ending on Da, your place is somewhere, out there, and I´m so sure that you will make it. I will follow you if you will fall, but I know you won´t. I don´t know if you ever listened everything I´ve said, but I know that one day you´ll remember these words as part of what you are right now: "I saw the sunset in pink behind the cranes!" And you know what? "I also took a photo of it, but that's not part of the puzzle..." It was part of you.

Okay, now I kind of understand what you meant when you said your relationship with my art is similar to mine with Nell's. That's really what I feel with her music! Thank you so much, truly. I don't know if I can put into words how much your words have touched me (at least without sounding super-affected, it's something I just feel... I'm not good at putting my feelings into words).

Speaking of which: "Nestling, fly with me. Find your way and see". Like Nell sings, I have to find the courage to try and fly away from the nest. So meanwhile, thank you for believing in me and reminding me I have to do the same. And also for your patience while I still try to do so.
