The story behind this photo is rather simple: I had to meet Daniela for some very gothic photos in Trieste, and while I was waiting for her just beneath that glass structure, I was listening to some songs from Theatre of Tragedy’s synthpop/industrial period. Well, when I saw her arrive in her “civilian” outfit with that leather coat which reminded me of Liv Kristine’s from the Musique promos, I just looked at her, then at the glass pillar, then at my iPod. Hi, I’m fine, nice to meet you, and next step was, “We’re starting now, would you please cross the fountain and go beneath that thing. Yep, keep the coat on”. And the bluish white-balance, which was there by acciden, made the rest, and here is a sudden Musique-style photo.
The angle is rather unusual, but in this photoshoot I experimented a lot with it.
