Sixth photos from my and BriarRose’s Белое (Beloe, “white”) project, about which you can read on my blog. Pulling off this concept was kinda difficult due to the surreal imagery in the lyrics, and BriarRose’s own idea, involving paper boats, shaped my own as well. I also decided to fold a paper lily to reinforce the connection with the title, and then had fun hanging all the boats from the branches and experimenting with focal lengths to give the right amount of blur to increase the surreal feel. This photo was definitely great to shoot and I’m very satisfied with the results.
