Description

"Out on your own,
Cold and alone again.
Can this be what you really wanted, baby?

(Lacrimosa)
Blame it on me,
(Dies illa)
Set your guilt free,
(Lacrimosa)
Nothing can hold you back now.
(Dona eis requiem)

Now that you're gone
I feel like myself again.
Grieving the things I can't repair and willing

(Lacrimosa)
To let you blame it on me
(Dies illa)
And set your guilt free.
(Lacrimosa)
I don't want to hold you back now, love.
(Dona eis requiem)

I can't change who I am.
Not this time, I wont lie to keep you near me,
And in this short life
There's no time to waste on giving up,
My love wasn't enough.

(Lacrimosa)
And you can blame it on me,
(Dies illa)
Just set your guilt free, honey,
(Lacrimosa)
I don't want to hold you back now, love.
(Dona eis requiem)

Amen
"

[ Lacrymosa - Evanescence ]

Disclaimer: the concept of this manipulation was in my mind even before I went to London, so there was no reference to my current situation... until now.
The two main bounds between this work and the song are the tears on the fisrt picture and the moth wings on the second.
"Lacrima" is the Italian for tear, and this is quite simple.
Then, everybody who listen to Evanescence knows that Lacrymosa is a cover of Mozart's Lacrimosa, but... what about that Y? The answer is on The Open Door booklet itself: the Tearful Underwing, whose scientific name is Catocala Lacrymosa, is the moth that appears a couple of times on the booklet, and even on the Sweet Sacrifice radio single cover. And that's it .
