Sixth photo from the Fight Like A Girl-inspired series with BriarRose.
G!G!G! is one of the most brilliant tracks on F.L.A.G. in my opinion. The fact that everything about it is historically correct – both the treatment of female inmates in asylums and the fact that the doctor organized freak-circus-like tours for outsiders – mixed with the cabaret-like music is pure genius. This time I chose to openly contrast the mood of the photo with that of the melody of the song to focus on the absolute grotesqueness of the situation.
On a side note, I doubt you’d recognize it, but that's the same wall in front of which I shot Evelyn last year (it got a bit dirtier in time). Undoubtfully, that place has an amazing light.
