This photo was taken back in November together with The Closed Eyes Of Paradise and Una Tertius, but remained pending on my HD because it would have surely been outhone by the other two photos.
I love Gothic architecture. I really do. And I also love Belle Époque architecture, which you can see in the background as the dome of the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele (you will see more of it very soon, I promise…). Actually, it was that detail to gave me the idea for the title: Belle Époque means bright lights and iron and glass buildings, but to me it has also some sort of melancholy, that fin de siècle atmosphere.
