In case you were wondering, yes, I have a thing for doors which roots back at my very first times as a photographer. And so does Knajfer, as we both got it from Evanescence’s The Open Door promo pics in 2006, so it’s on wonder we took no less than four photos involving doors and windows (the next one is coming soon). Taking another Evanescence-related photo with a door would be banal, though, and given it was also a while since I took something inspired by Tristania, and somehow abandoned warehouses often point me in Ashes’ direction, I decided to develop an old idea I had for Endogenisis with a bit of adaptation. I like it a lot, to be honest.
